Call to Order:  1231 by Katie Onisko

Approval of Minutes from last meeting, March 28, 2009
      Motion Barb Osborne; 2nd Donna Crawford; passed

Committee Reports
A)  Budget & Finance-Denise Van Why: Treasurer’s report is in the syllabus.
B) Education-Janet Gross:  Congratulations to scholarship recipients: Diane Walker ($350 for certification) and Mitzie Donaldson ($300 for recertification). 
C) Vendor Relations-Lesa Paige:  Many thanks to Lesa for stepping in and assuming responsibilities of Vendor chair; she is a committee of one so anyone interested in helping her would be very welcome.
D) Membership-Donna Crawford:  congratulations to membership scholarship recipients:  Sandra Hanna and Melissa Sebold for renewal; Billie Glasco and Kathleen York for new  memberships.
E) Program-Paulette Smith and committee:  introduced and appreciated for putting on such a great program.   
F) Aricles/Bylaws-no secretary:  Janet Gross is temporarily doing job.
G) Nominations & Elections (& Historian)-Dorie Werner:   Ballot for Secretary, Education, Vendor/PR, President-Elect are in the syllabus. 
H) Legislative-CFNO: we need someone who is interested in representing us.
I) Communications/Website/Newsletter-Jeanine Penberthy:  web site is www.RMSGNA.com
 
Old Business
A)  St Louis National Course:  well attended.  Congrats to our Quiz Bowl Team who won $1000
       and 5 learning disc links
B) Historian:  new photo albums are being created; anyone with photos of RMSGNA members &/or events is asked to give them to the Historian.
C) RMSGNA Pins:  available from Donna Crawford for $2.00 each.
New Business
A)  Committee participation wanted:  anyone who is interested in joining a committee see Dorie Werner &/or sign up on the board near the registration table.
B) Colon Cancer Alliance:  is forming a new task force and is asking for a RMSGNA member to be on it; anyone interested should contact Brian Kothe at the Colon Cancer Alliance.
C) Legislative Representative (CFNO-state level) is needed:  please contact our president if you are interested.
D) Resolutions for House of Delegates:  due January 1.
E) Nominations & elections:  ballots are in the syllabus.  All members are asked to vote and turn in ballots.
F) Presidential Farewell:  Katie Onisko
G) Certification Exams:  last paper & pencil test except at Nationals;  the rest will be on line.
H) Announcements:  Election Results
