Hello out there to all of the GI professionals striving to be the best they can be. I want thank Rocky Mountain Region #08 for making it possible for me to attempt to take the Certification exam again on October 18th. The first time was such a challenge and I really believed I was ready, low and behold , the day six of us left to take the test in Denver, I had the flu, flunked!!!! I decided to do it one more time convincing myself that I did well ,just couldn't keep my lines in order. Suffice it to say I did take it, my best friend and mentor Katie O was with me, she drove me their and waited in Denver to ride home with me. She was confident " that was it
Two weeks later I got my results and passed with flying colors. Finally, success. I thank all who supported me, including RMSGNA and their scholarship process, that makes it easy to be helped.
For you out there that have not yet taken the exam, I encourage you to find a mentor and support and "Go For It" It is a great feeling of pride for yourself.
Sincerely,
Diane Walker RN CGRN
